Grower Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grower Supervisor to join our team at 80 Acres Farms. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our vertical farm, ensuring the highest quality crops are produced while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise grow systems to optimize crop production and quality
• Monitor and maintain crop health, quality, and yield
• Direct and supervise day-to-day grow functions, including crop handling, IPM, seeding and transplant, fertigation, and sanitation
• Communicate with R&D and SMEs on crop status, learnings, and observations
• Ensure compliance with PPE and GMPs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of production grow experience in a CEA environment
• Expert knowledge of leafy greens and advanced Priva experience
• 2+ years of team supervision experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use resources to complete short- and medium-term projects
• Strong computer skills and communication skills
