Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at St. Mary's Health Care System. As a PRN RN, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based medicine and individualized care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify care plans as needed.
- Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to your expertise.
- Work collaboratively with the Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
- Provide care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards.
Requirements:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Georgia.
- Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
- Prior experience in the Emergency Department is preferred.
