"Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and mentor nursing students in a clinical setting, providing direct supervision and evaluation of their performance.
  • Develop and implement clinical experiences that align with course objectives and student learning needs.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to students on their level of performance.
  • Collaborate with clinical partners to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.
  • Stay current with agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.

"Qualifications

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • An unencumbered professional nursing license in Texas.
  • At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse.
  • Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional subject matter expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

"Compensation

The expected compensation rate for this position is between $560 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the credit hour assigned to the course. Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law.
