About the Role

This full-time, day shift position is available at our Baylor Scott & White Center for Diagnostic Medicine location. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating patients and providing care in accordance with established nursing standards and procedures
  • Participating in care planning, intervention, and evaluation with a focus on precision, vigilance, and patient care
  • Notifying and reporting any changes in patients' conditions to your Registered Nurse supervisor
  • Facilitating education for patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members
  • Working with others to implement a care plan under RN/provider direction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License and a thorough knowledge of nursing and patient care standards and procedures. You should also possess excellent communication skills, enabling the clear expression of thoughts both orally and in writing. Additionally, you should have the ability to offer good care to patients of all ages, while honoring each person's unique experiences.
