Cybersecurity Apprentice

Agency is a hyper-growth startup based in NYC, backed by Y Combinator and prominent investors. Our mission is to revolutionize the future of cybersecurity.

As a key member of our team, you will bridge the gap between technology, customers, and internal business operations. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and account management through business processes and IT processes, driving solutions that align with our strategic goals.

This is a paid entry-level apprenticeship role, ideal for a highly motivated individual eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our business operations. The apprenticeship culminates in a salaried junior role as an Account Manager.

No prior cybersecurity experience is required - we will provide the necessary training and certifications.

• Assist Senior Team Members: Work under the guidance of senior team members and gain hands-on experience with a high-growth cybersecurity team.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
• Account Management: Provide exceptional account support to our business clients and key contacts.
• Project Support: Provide support and liaison between teams.
• Learn about cybersecurity and gain industry-leading certifications.

This role offers a unique entry point into the tech and cybersecurity industry, providing a foundational understanding of how elite teams operate and develop skills in areas such as tech sales, IT support, cybersecurity, and compliance.

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent work experience in business operations or client-facing customer service.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Eagerness to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred (but not required): past internships or experience in technology or software companies.

This is a full-time, in-person role in our new office near Harvard Sq, Cambridge MA.
