Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Technipower. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing electric system models using Milsoft and SKM engineering analysis software. You will communicate with clients on project expectations and design criteria, and design substations and distribution lines. This is a temp to possible perm position that requires on-site work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electric system models using Milsoft and SKM engineering analysis software
  • Communicate with clients on project expectations and design criteria
  • Design substations and distribution lines
  • Lead projects from start to finish
  • Provide on-site project observation and technical assistance during construction
  • Use Autocad, SKM, and Milsoft software
  • Have a strong understanding of medium voltage power systems and design experience with substations and distribution lines
  • Hold a BSEE degree and have EIT PE certification
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to relocate to the Knoxville, TN area

Requirements:

  • BSEE degree
  • 4+ years of experience in medium voltage power systems
  • Design and engineering experience with substations and distribution lines
  • EIT PE certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead projects from start to finish
  • Autocad, SKM, and Milsoft software experience
  • Ability to relocate to the Knoxville, TN area
