Medical Director for Hospitalist Services

About the Role:
Source Medical, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our Hospitalist services team.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining and treating patients independently, providing direct inpatient care to adult patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper illness and injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Providing episodic and chronic care, as well as screening and educational assistance to patients.
- Conducting inpatient and outpatient consultations in internal medicine.
- Providing quality care to patients by following current evidence-based guidelines and procedures.
- Adhering to all institutional policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Taking part in quality assurance audits, including continuing education, and peer review.
- Participating in continuing education and training to keep up with current developments in the industry.
- Recognizing patient diversity and treating all warmly and kindly.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Nurse Practitioner:
- Masters degree in area of specialty required.
- Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP).
- State authority for advanced practice.
- Physician Assistant:
- Masters degree in area of specialty required.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) as a PA-C.
- State authority for advanced practice.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
