Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Direct, coordinate, and evaluate the activities of cooks and other kitchen associates to ensure efficient food production and service.
• Food Quality and Safety: Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and customer service standards are met, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Menu Development and Planning: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
• Inventory Management: Track food use, waste, and consumption to requisition or purchase products, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Team Development and Training: Supervise and train kitchen associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations.

• Previous Experience: Previous high-volume and fast-paced kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
• Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of kitchen associates.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Competitive Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $17.00 per hour.
