Job Title: MRI Technologist

At Premier Health Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Huber Heights Medical Imaging. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures of diagnostic quality as ordered by the referring physician and/or radiologist on patients of all ages according to established protocols and evaluates MRI studies for technical image quality.
  • Obtain clinical history and data for correlation with the MRI procedure.
  • Implement screening and safety measures in accordance with prescribed MRI safety standards. Perform daily and weekly QC as required.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media to the patient according to policy. Practice sterile techniques.
  • Assist Radiologist in special procedures and in performing medical treatment during emergency situations.
  • Coordinate patient care with other areas in order to optimize patient time and satisfaction.
  • Assess learning needs and educate patients/families regarding procedures based on individual needs. Thoroughly educate patients about exam.
  • Ensure that all records, files and reports are properly recorded as required, perform clerical duties when necessary, verify a signed physician order is received and corresponds with the billed procedure.
  • Maintain knowledge of the locations and operation of all emergency equipment in the unit.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Medical Imaging Sciences or related field.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • MRI registry preferred.
  • ODH licensure preferred.
  • ARRT RT (R) registry required.
  • No prior job-related work experience required, but one year MRI experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of advanced MRI computer applications.
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Radiology Information System (RIS) and Image Storage.
