Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our Home Health team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and services through effective management of a highly functioning interdisciplinary clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage staff assignments, caseloads, and productivity to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Evaluate staffing levels and clinical competence to ensure the highest level of care.
- Provide clinical guidance and coaching for complex situations to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
- Manage quality and fiscal outcomes, service utilization, targeted case mix, and productivity levels to ensure the highest level of care.
- Prepare and analyze reports to manage patient care and team performance.
- Review clinical documentation and records to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible clinical experience, with at least 1 year of recent home health experience.
- Prior supervisory or management experience required.
- Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn other software applications.
- Local travel required.
- Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of home health Medicare Conditions of Participation and payment mechanisms.
- Ability to critically assess situations, make decisions, and execute solutions.
- Ability to gain sponsorship and buy-in necessary to support and implement initiatives.
