Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Marker LLC. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing complete and accurate estimates for all contract and delivery method types.
You will also be responsible for reviewing and finalizing bids and budgets prepared by assigned estimators, as well as performing constructability reviews with clients and architects.
Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing preliminary estimates and studies during preconstruction, monitoring design development cost trends to detect over-runs and potential problem areas.
You will participate in the value engineering process and assist in the preparation of construction schedules for estimating purposes.
As a Senior Estimator, you will be able to work on multiple projects and manage and support other estimators.
You will foster strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, and support Business Development in proposal presentations.
You will also assist Project Managers and Project Executives in evaluating, analyzing, and negotiating subcontractor proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare complete and accurate estimates for all contract and delivery method types

Requirements:
- Four (4) year college degree in engineering, construction management or similar
- Minimum of 7-10 years of vertical building experience, with at least 5 years of service dedicated to estimating
- Advanced knowledge in Sage 300 estimating software
- Proficient in Office 365
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines
- Logical, analytical, and detail oriented
- Ability to effectively communicate and work well with all types of personalities
