Essential Skills and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of patient care techniques, medications, treatments, and general healthcare procedures. Key competencies include:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Capability to provide fundamental patient care to a diverse population.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting various professional documents.
- Strong writing skills for effective documentation and idea presentation.

- Aptitude for addressing complex problems with limited standardization.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of one year of current experience in the specialty area is required, with a preference for candidates possessing at least two years of adult intensive care experience, including advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Experience with IABP, CRRT, and cardiovascular open-heart recovery is highly desirable.
Educational Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licensure and Certifications
Registered Nurse - State Licensure (RN) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, while Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification is preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is also required. NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) is preferred upon hire or within two weeks of starting orientation.
Work Schedule
This position involves working night shifts on a part-time basis, with variable days and every other weekend required.
Benefits and Employment Status
Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, this position is classified as non-exempt and regular, with a weekly hour commitment of 32 hours. There are three openings available.
Additional Information
This role may involve handling hazardous medications as identified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in accordance with USP 800 guidelines.

Compensation
