Job Summary:The Behavioral Health Director will be responsible for managing and directing the operations of a single business location, ensuring sustained high quality of care and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Leadership:
- Develop and communicate a compelling vision that motivates others
- Measure staff satisfaction with services and organizational performance
- Improve performance, quality, and efficiency of work processes and services provided
- Financial Performance:
- Develop, implement, monitor, and analyze the unit budget
- Manage operational P&L and make decisions based on financial performance
- Review financial reports monthly and involve other unit staff in the budgeting process
- Strategic Growth:
- Pursue opportunities for growth and development of new business for RHA
- Establish and maintain good relationships with Local Management Entities (LMEs) and private case managers
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field, healthcare management, or general business/public administration
- Graduate degree (MBA or MHA) preferred
- Prefer 3-5 years of experience in prior management positions with comparable responsibility
