Educational Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a related discipline recognized by the American Dietetic Association (ADA) is essential.

Professional Experience

Completion of a CADE-accredited supervised practice program in a healthcare setting, community organization, or foodservice company, or a combination with academic studies is required. Typically, this practice program lasts between six to twelve months.

Technical Proficiencies

Proficiency in computer applications is necessary.

Licensure and Certification

  • Must possess a valid registration as a Registered Dietitian from the ADA.
  • Current licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Nevada is required.
  • Specialty certifications (CDE, CNSD, CSP, CDR) may be necessary for specific roles.
Additional Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to provide appropriate services tailored to the age of the patients.
