The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing and piping installation, as well as the ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications. They will also be able to work effectively with our subcontractors and represent our company in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and install plumbing and heating systems for commercial clients
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Work effectively with subcontractors and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Perform field fabrication of plumbing and piping systems
  • Manage materials and ensure timely completion of work
  • Inspect work-in-progress and completed work to ensure conformance to contract and specification
  • Assist project managers and superintendents with problems or questions
  • Attend jobsite and office meetings as required

Requirements:

  • 5 years commercial experience in field plumbing or heating operations
  • Prior shop experience a plus
  • Stable work history
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications
  • Knowledge of plumbing and piping installation
  • Ability to fabricate offsets and work with hand and power tools
  • Good math skills
  • High School or GED Equivalent
  • Journeyman license
  • Trade School a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Eyesight correctable to 20/50
  • Able to work long hours on feet
  • Able to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds
  • Able to perform shift work
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60lbs
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must not be afraid of heights

Special Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must provide own basic hand tools
  • Able to operate heavy machinery
  • OSHA 10 certificate
