About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing patient-centered care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure effective and timely care.
  • Monitor and document patient condition, including vital signs and medication administration.
  • Evaluate and update patient care plans to achieve planned and expected outcomes.
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with approved nursing protocols.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) for Critical Care areas.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) for Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation.
  • ONS Chemo/Bio course completion within one year of employment for inpatient and outpatient units where chemotherapy is administered.

Physical Requirements

The Registered Nurse will be required to stand and walk for extended periods, handle and lift patients, and perform manual and finger dexterity tasks. The ideal candidate will have corrected vision and hearing to normal range and be able to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
