Job Summary

The Assistant Store Leader of Guest Engagement is a key role within our retail organization, responsible for driving exceptional guest experiences and leading a team of associates to achieve sales objectives, operating expenses, and loss prevention goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Engagement: Provide exceptional guest service through relationship building, product knowledge, and maintaining a clean, well-maintained store environment.
  • Leadership: Foster a guest-focused team environment, drive volume, and anticipate guest needs.
  • Performance Management: Proactively provide timely feedback to associates, reward and recognize performance to drive retention, and hold self and associates accountable for achievement of financial results and performance standards.
  • Training and Development: Develop associates through an individualized approach, match talent with tasks, delegate, and challenge on results.
  • Operational Excellence: Engage guests, make recommendations on hiring, promotions, and terminations of team members based on performance, and manage Mission Monday partnership and events.
Requirements
  • 1 year Retail Management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance
