Join Our Team as a Labor and Delivery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at LCMC Health. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients and their families to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • NRP certification (within 6 months).
  • NALS certification (within 6 months) preferred.
