Job Details

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in New London, Connecticut.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess one to three years of experience as a Technologist and be certified in Nuclear Medicine. They will be responsible for communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members, providing and coordinating patient care, and administering medications as ordered.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care.
  • Administer medications as ordered.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Technologist.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
  • Ability to contend with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate.
