Job Title: Hairstylist/Barber

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced hairstylist/barber to join our team at Supercuts. As a hairstylist/barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cutting, coloring, and styling hair, as well as promoting and selling services and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with guests to understand their preferences and use your expertise to recommend appropriate hairstyles and products
• Shampoo, cut, color, and style hair
• Provide guests with product knowledge and hair care tips for at home
• Adhere to salon safety and cleanliness standards

Requirements:

• Valid cosmetology or barber license in the state you are applying to work
• Friendly, energetic, people-oriented personality
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Salon professional appearance

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for sustained periods of time
• Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Continuous repetitive movement with fingers, hands, wrists and arms.
• Continuous grasping and reaching, often above shoulder level
• Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances used in performing services
• Ability to observe guest's hair, including close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to communicate with guest regarding services offered and requested and the guest's needs and wants
