Position Summary:
Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking a qualified Traveling PET/CT Imaging Specialist for an exciting opportunity in Utica, NY. This role involves performing imaging procedures during daytime hours, ensuring no weekend, holiday, or on-call duties are required. The position allows you to apply your skills in PET and CT imaging within a collaborative and supportive setting.
Key Duties:
- Execute PET and CT imaging procedures utilizing GE Discovery scanners and Siemens Definition CTs.
- Conduct F18 FDG, PSMA, and Ga-68 examinations with expertise.
- Manage EMR systems, including EPIC and Change Healthcare PACS.
- Employ TeraRecon for advanced 3D imaging as necessary.
- Complete approximately 6 to 8 imaging exams daily.
- Guarantee high-quality imaging and prioritize patient safety throughout all procedures.
- Adhere to established protocols for utilizing Nuclear Medicine in disease diagnosis.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in PET/CT imaging.
- Experience in PET imaging is mandatory.
- BLS and ARRT certification are required.
- New York State licensure is necessary.
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
- NMTCB and/or ARRT certification is essential.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, including EPIC and Change Healthcare PACS.
