Position Overview
The Maintenance & Reliability Operations Analyst will be an integral part of our Midland Basin asset team. This role involves working with various facilities including tank batteries, water gathering systems, and processing facilities. The Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) team, including the Emissions team, is responsible for monitoring and maintaining all surface facilities throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate, facilitate, and complete work orders using the M&R Panel (an application-based tool).
- Monitor and manage expenditures against budget, ensuring accurate reconciliation of actuals to accruals.
- Coordinate and track flyovers for emissions monitoring.
- Review and audit invoices for accuracy.
- Report financial data into accounting, finance, and planning systems.
- Collaborate with the facilities engineering team and third parties to ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure all engineering work is completed and appropriately filed in document management systems.
- Update SAP data for new projects and upgrades.
- Manage team data systems, including shared drives and collaboration tools.
- Develop and optimize cost reporting processes and tools, such as PowerBI dashboards.
- Enhance document management workflows and gain experience in data analytics and scheduling.
- Support M&R Supervisors with administrative tasks and fleet management.
Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- 1+ years of experience in the onshore oil and gas industry.
- 3+ years of experience in cost tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
- Technical degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Data Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the onshore oil and gas industry.
- Experience with Generwell and SharePoint libraries.
- Proficiency in creating and managing data visualization tools like PowerBI.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of actions and follow through on commitments.
- Ability to build positive relationships based on trust and collaboration.
- Active listening skills and openness to new ideas.
