About the Job

Atrium Health is seeking a CT Imaging Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to perform CT scans in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify patient orders and refer to Radiologist when necessary.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and document medical history.
  • Administer IV contrast and evaluate image quality.
  • Perform basic patient care functions and assist in emergency situations.
  • Operate radiology computer system and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification.

Work Environment

  • Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and sitting during normal operation.
