Key Responsibilities- Meet with clients to gather information for preparing tax returns, utilizing your expertise in individual and business taxation, federal and state tax laws.
- Prepare tax returns using Lacerte tax preparation software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct tax planning sessions with clients outside of tax season, providing personalized advice and guidance.
- Research tax matters and identify opportunities for clients to minimize their tax liability.
- Review financial statements and bookkeeping issues with clients, providing expert analysis and recommendations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required, with EA or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience preparing individual, partnership, corporation, and S corporation tax returns.
- Proficiency in Windows-based systems, tax preparation software, QuickBooks, and Excel.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of individual and business taxation, federal and state tax laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary: $50,000 - $85,000 per year.
