Position Summary:

We are seeking a Laboratory Scientist Specialist to enhance our Technical Support initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced laboratory experiments aimed at integrating new technologies and addressing fundamental scientific inquiries related to customer feedback and technical challenges associated with Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) assays and reagents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations and troubleshooting activities, applying scientific expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Design, plan, and execute research and development projects, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of experimental data and provide clear scientific interpretations of results for a non-technical audience through detailed reports and presentations.
  • Utilize critical thinking and deductive reasoning to implement process improvements and innovative methodologies in problem-solving.
  • Establish project priorities, develop timelines, and monitor progress towards project milestones and deadlines.
  • Prepare regular internal updates and comprehensive project reviews as necessary.
  • Keep management informed of project statuses, particularly regarding significant findings and critical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal safety regulations and external guidelines throughout all technical activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in Biological Sciences.
  • A minimum of 3 years of pertinent industry experience or general laboratory expertise.
