Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical procedures, including imaging and testing, to diagnose and treat diseases in humans.
- Select and operate equipment, selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient basis, and assist in equipment calibration and radioisotope assay operation.
- Transfer and position patients for examinations, providing immobilization and protection as required, and maintain orderliness and cleanliness in the department.
- Assist physicians in performance or examinations by preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals to patients under the direction of a licensed physician.
- Practice sterile techniques and prevent cross contamination, and demonstrate customer service principles and behaviors.
- Associate degree or equivalent in Radiology Technology preferred.
- Texas Medical Board-MRT license required.
- Current BCLS certification required.
- ARRT or NMCT required.
- At least one year of full-time experience in clinical Nuclear Medicine imaging, including didactic experience preferred.
