Residential Case Manager Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Residential Case Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will provide case management and support services to facilitate clinical management of cases assigned. This role requires close collaboration with the treatment team, external teams, and family members to ensure seamless coordination and communication. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a dynamic environment, and maintain accurate documentation records.
About You
We value candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related area. Alternatively, an Associate's Degree and two years' experience in an inpatient or outpatient mental health setting are also considered. Your ability to work with children, adolescents, and families in a mental health setting will be essential in this role. Additionally, your knowledge of child/adolescent growth and development, as well as an understanding of treatment provided by the center, will help you excel in this position.
Responsibilities
This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including coordinating discharges, making initial contact with external teams and family members, managing inventory lists, scanning behavioral information into resident files, and facilitating external team and family calls. You will need to demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. As a key member of the treatment team, you will participate in meetings, contribute to discharge planning, and coordinate necessary documentation. Your ability to get appropriate approvals for visits and passes, as well as schedule them in a timely manner, is crucial to the success of this role.
