About the Role

Anchor Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Expressive Therapist to join our interdisciplinary treatment team. As a key member of our team, you will provide therapeutic expressive therapy services to patients, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Expressive Therapy treatment plans that are age-appropriate and consistent with overall treatment goals.
  • Maintain clinical and administrative documentation associated with performed services.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu, providing crisis intervention and assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
  • Develop and implement Multi-Modality Group Therapy services to patients in one or more programs of the hospital.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Recreational, Art, Drama, Music, or Dance/Movement Therapy.
  • License/Certification: CRTS, Art/Dance/Music Therapy Certification required.
  • Physical Requirements: Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive time sitting, writing, and talking on the telephone. Ability to assist in crisis intervention and physical intervention with out-of-control patients.
