Dining Room Ambassador

**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a talented Server to join our team at Rotolos Destrehan. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, including greeting and seating them, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that they have a wonderful dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes
• Make recommendations to guests based on their preferences
• Answer questions about our food, beverages, and restaurant functions
• Take orders from guests and enter them into our point-of-sale system
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
• Perform side work as required by service station assignment
• Maintain clean service areas
• Monitor and observe guests' dining experience and respond promptly to any requests
• Prepare final bill and present it to the guest

Requirements:

• Must be able to maintain a Responsible Vendors Permit and work AM shifts
• Be able to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
• Have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
• Possess basic math skills and be able to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to stand for long periods of time and safely lift trays of food weighing up to 20-25 pounds

Estimated Salary: $18-$25 per hour
