About this Opportunity

TC Transcontinental's Legal Team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to support our Packaging Sector. This position will be based at our headquarters in Chicago and will report to the Company's Chief Legal Officer based at TC Transcontinental's global corporate headquarters in Montreal, Quebec.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, negotiate, and close commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
  • Advise internal business partners on commercial issues and related compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Oversee TC Transcontinental's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and Company policies.
  • Support a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives.
  • Participate in drafting and negotiating M&A transactions.

Requirements

  • J.D. from a recognized accredited U.S. law school, strong academic background, and currently licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one state.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant legal experience in law firm or in-house settings.
