Job Title: Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist

Clinical Rehabilitation Specialists play a vital role in promoting clinical excellence within healthcare teams. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our esteemed healthcare team at MLee Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate clinical education and competency programs with precision and efficiency.
  • Provide direct patient care, conducting thorough evaluations, and implementing tailored treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement clinical competencies, ensuring staff maintain required credentials.
  • Act as a Preceptor and Mentor, staying current on clinical techniques and regulatory changes.
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate patient documentation, attending meetings, and trainings, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a school of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology, approved by the respective American Physical, Occupational, or Speech and Hearing Therapy Associations.
  • Currently licensed in the State of California by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
  • Possess all additional qualifications as recommended by the professions CA Therapy Board and the Rehabilitation Services Department.
  • 5 years of experience as a clinician in the practice of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology with demonstrated clinical expertise and certification in one or more clinical areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Clinical Instructor.
  • Member of the American Respective Professional Therapy Association.
  • Strong experience as a mentor and in a multidisciplinary environment, in a hospital setting.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.
