Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications while maintaining accurate records
  • Package, label, and distribute prescribed medication doses effectively
  • Manage drug inventories, restock shelves, and monitor expiration dates
  • Operate pharmacy automation systems efficiently
  • Utilize computer systems to read and select drugs/products
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on pharmacy equipment
  • Handle hazardous materials with appropriate safety measures

Required Qualifications

  • Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or relevant experience
  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations and computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Ability to lift and perform various physical tasks
  • No sponsorship is available for this position

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, and reach during work shifts
  • Capability to carry and push/pull specified weights
