Cleveland, Ohio is home to a major healthcare provider seeking an experienced Hematopathologist. The MetroHealth System's Department of Pathology has multiple job openings for board-certified medical doctors specializing in hematology and hematopathology.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing blood-related disorders and diseases. He/she must also possess strong leadership skills, as the position may involve directing laboratory teams.

Responsibilities include interpreting biopsy results, collaborating with healthcare providers, and contributing to clinical research studies. Additional duties may include teaching residents and medical students, as well as participating in community outreach programs.

To be considered, candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, along with American Board of Pathology certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology/ Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) or Anatomic Pathology (AP). They should also be board certified or eligible in Hematopathology and qualified for an unrestricted medical license in Ohio.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary range between $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure includes additional compensation for directors who lead laboratory teams.
