Position Overview:
As a Surgical Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead surgeon throughout the surgical process, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. This position is crucial in ensuring that surgical procedures are conducted smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the primary surgeon with organized guidance and supervised practice during surgical procedures.
- Step in as a qualified physician's assistant when necessary.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a high standard of patient care.

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited RN First Assisting program.
- Active California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Obtain a California Fire and Life Safety Card from a recognized organization within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in peri-operative nursing, including roles as both scrub and circulator.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
