We are seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join our team at Riverside Healthcare. As an EEG Technician, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalograms (EEGs) on inpatients and outpatients, assisting with the insertion of nasopharyngeal electrodes, and processing EEG reports for physician review.

• Assist with patient transportation and scheduling.
• Care for equipment and maintain adequate supplies.
• Perform EEG tracings and processing.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an EEG training program or school, or equivalent registry preparation, or experience as a sleep tech or Registered EEG Tech.
• BLS preferred.

The EEG Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The EEG Technician will be required to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally. The position also requires standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.

The EEG Technician will work in a well-ventilated area with moderate noise levels. The position requires the use of personal protective equipment, including gloves, goggles, and a mask.

The EEG Technician will be required to work a 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime as needed. The position requires flexibility and adaptability, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
