Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a virtual school setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students in a remote learning environment, providing individualized therapy sessions and collaborating with teachers and parents to support student success.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance functional skills and participation in academic and social activities.
  • Deliver teletherapy sessions using evidence-based interventions and virtual tools to address students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the virtual classroom and home environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed.
  • Provide consultation and training to school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals in remote learning settings.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Recent experience working as an occupational therapist in a school setting.
