Job Summary

We offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to become a part of our team as a Medical Assistant - Patient Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care duties under the supervision of a physician. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver general medical care to patients, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
  • Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and test results.

Requirements:

  • National certification from an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • 1-year of healthcare experience preferred, with a focus on medical assistance or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and compassion.
