Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts, including diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, replacing faulty parts and components, and conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including work-orders and maintenance logs to track the history of each forklift.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, and assist with other maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in forklift maintenance is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of forklift systems and components, ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues, proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills and ability to work independently.
