POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary objective of this position is to deliver exceptional service and comprehensive patient care in a professional and empathetic manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the most effective response and appropriate protocols.
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen delivery systems, intravenous fluids, CPR, and other necessary medications to provide advanced medical assistance.
- Employ triage skills to ensure optimal efficiency during emergency calls.
- Deliver patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Assist in lifting and transporting patients as necessary to ensure optimal care.
- Communicate effectively with receiving medical facilities to obtain guidance and relay critical information.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Must possess a valid CA Driver's License, Ambulance Driver's License, Medical Examiner's Card, and State of California Paramedic License. Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory. Driving record must comply with AMR Safety and Driving policies.
Experience:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Salary Information:
Competitive salary based on experience, with a rate applicable to 12-hour shifts and an average of 42 hours per week.
