We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at North Caddo Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans and Diagnostic X-ray procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring proper positioning and immobilization as needed.
- Operate CT scanners and other equipment according to examination protocols and safety guidelines.
- Provide radiation protection and ensure patient safety at all times.
- Start IVs and inject contrast media as needed.
- Transmit images to PACS and ensure timely reporting of results.
- Assist with patient transport and lifting as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
ARRT certification in CT or equivalent experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.What We Offer:
