About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GPR Utility Location Technician to join our team at ECS Limited. As a key member of our Mobile team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our Special Projects Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field observations and inspections of various construction materials, including structural steel placement and reinforcement.
  • Conduct routine observations of structural steel and reinforcing steel, including welded or bolted connections using various methodologies and testing equipment.
  • Collect and analyze data, perform calculations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance professional skills and advance in your career.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Current ASNT CP 9712 Certification or ECS PQC NDE Certification to Level II in a minimum of 2 methods.
  • Ability to lift 40-70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lift 85 lbs to waist height.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.
