Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team at MECO Land Services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in land acquisition and permitting, with a proven track record of success in negotiating agreements and managing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform land and rights of way acquisition and permitting functions for new construction and operation projects
  • Assist with and develop preliminary pipeline routes, cost estimates, and schedules for projects
  • Prepare reports related to easement rights, title updates, and landowner claims
  • Negotiate legal agreements associated with real property
  • Identify and acquire permits from private, local, state, and federal agencies
  • Assess, negotiate, settle, and issue checks for damage claims
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in land acquisition and permitting, with a strong understanding of real estate law and regulations. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
