Job Title: CT Technologist - Travel Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Unit Information:

Our department is a busy and dynamic environment, with a team of experienced professionals working together to provide excellent patient care. We are a small facility with a family-friendly atmosphere, making it easy to find your way around and get to know your colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and immobilizing them as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and scan results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of Kansas
  • 2-3 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Siemens scanner technology
  • 2-3 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting
  • Ability to back up X-ray if X-ray technologist is in the OR
