**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Correctional Officer to join our team at Dodge State Prison. As a Correctional Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining custody and security for incarcerated offenders and ensuring the safety of our facilities.

**Responsibilities:**

* Maintain custody and security for offenders, ensuring their safety and well-being
* Enforce institutional policies, rules, and regulations to maintain order and discipline
* Take offenders into custody and escort them during transit and temporary leave
* Oversee facility entrances and screen visitors
* Inspect inventories and maintain physical control of logs, keys, tools, and equipment
* Maintain order and discipline within assigned areas
* Observe offender conduct and behavior to prevent disturbances and escapes
* Oversee offenders during work assignments, meals, and recreation periods
* Patrol assigned areas and report any problems
* Prepare admission, program, release, transfer, and other reports
