Dassault Aviation is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art 54,000 square foot Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport in Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the efficient execution of work scope tasks assigned to you. Your primary duties will include performing tasks as required by the work scope with efficiency and to quality standards, utilizing applicable technical data relative to work performed. This includes maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, troubleshooting, repair and modifications, and fueling and de-fueling. You will also be responsible for ensuring that you present yourself in a professional manner and appearance in day-to-day contact with customers, guests, and co-workers. Additionally, you will be thoroughly familiar with the Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual relative to the scope of your assigned duties. You will perform at maximum efficiency by effective use of available resources, possess a working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations, and complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms in accordance with methods of execution outlined in the RSM/QCM. You will also support Aircraft Crew Chief with shift turnover requirements, collaborate and cooperate with the Customer Project Supervisor to achieve on-time and on-budget objectives, and maintain good housekeeping practices by utilizing a 5S system. You will focus on Human Factors in the workplace and drive to zero defects in workmanship and safety. You will observe and administer company rules and regulations and safety policy and standard operating procedures, and support the corporate mission and vision through achievement of department goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant, and at least three years' experience in business jet maintenance environment, preferably on Falcon aircraft. You will also have demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and other technical data. You must be able to work and bend in a confined workspace, have manual dexterity required for a technician, and be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs. Knowledgeable and experienced using computers and aircraft software is also required. A FAA Inspection Authorization and successful completion of at least one Falcon Initial Maintenance School are desired. Engine Run & Taxi qualified on business jet aircraft, preferably on Falcon aircraft, is also a plus. Significant military fixed wing A7P experience is also a plus.
