Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the activities of an underground crew to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
  • Document work performed by assigned crew members and maintain accurate records
  • Read and interpret system maps and schematics to identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Operate and maintain construction equipment, including digger derricks, trenchers, and hand tools
Requirements
  • 4 years of related work experience in telecommunications construction
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and equipment, including wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, forklifts, and saws
  • Proficient in the use of telecom construction equipment, including aerial lifts, dozers, lashers, meters, and plows
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
