Senior SAP Project Manager

Beacon Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Project Manager to lead the implementation of a 6-month project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing the execution of the discovery initiative for Phases 2 and 3 of our client's implementation project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a detailed plan to track progress of project deliverables
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, team members, and other relevant parties
  • Coordinate meetings, rooms, and participants to meet Discovery Phase objectives
  • Manage risks and issues, and report to the Polaris PMO as needed
  • Document and report on project progress, including meeting notes and status reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 5 years of project management experience in IT software application experience
  • Experience managing an SAP project is a plus
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent planning, organization, project management, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Smartsheet experience/expertise a plus
Additional Requirements:
  • On-site work required for up to 5 days a week in Jackson, MS
