Colorectal Surgeon

Geisinger Health System is seeking a fellowship-trained Colorectal Surgeon to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a leading health service organization, we serve patients throughout Pennsylvania and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

**Position Details:**

• This position will be based at our Geisinger Wyoming Valley location in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
• The Division of Colorectal Surgery will have a total of 7 surgeons across the system, with 1 Advanced Practitioner.
• Our Colorectal Surgery practice will focus on general colorectal surgery, with a large volume of cancer and inflammatory bowel disease cases.
• Shared call responsibilities will be part of this position.
• We offer an academic environment with an ACGME-accredited Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship, as well as a General Surgery Residency, coupled with a strong research infrastructure.
• The practice is approximately 80% colorectal and 20% anorectal.
