Job Summary

Sector Technology, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Assembly Technician to join our team in the industrial machinery sector. The successful candidate will have proven mechanical skills, experience in using power tools and measuring instruments, and the ability to interpret and follow blueprints and assembly instructions.

This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined and have a passion for assembling high-quality industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and Quality Control: Accurately assemble fabricated parts and components of industrial plasma cutting machines, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Tool Management: Utilize various common power tools effectively in the assembly process, maintaining them in good working order.
  • Material Handling: Safely handle materials and components, with the ability to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the assembly team and other departments to ensure efficient and timely production goals are met, communicating effectively with team members and management.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proven mechanical skills and inclination, with experience in using power tools and measuring instruments.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to interpret and follow blueprints and assembly instructions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical or industrial engineering is a plus.
