Communication Disorders Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Atrium Health Navicent. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for evaluating patients with communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients with communication disorders using standardized assessments and tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapy sessions, counseling, and education.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Masters degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia.
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
